In its 5 years of existence, maat – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology – has established a prominent place in the cultural landscape of Lisbon. Its anniversary celebrations are a testament to this each year, featuring a broad programme of free exhibitions, talks, guided tours, music, and more.
In October 2021, after nearly 2 years of COVID restrictions, the museum, in partnership with Microsoft, invited Comida Independente to host a farmers' and independent producers' market in its outdoor space, as a gesture of support to the sector during the pandemic.
The visual identity, now more than ever, needed to reflect a festive spirit to the public, bringing together the fragments of what had been two years of collective struggle. Using the museum's visual identity colour palette, the event's visual communication consisted of a series of collages featuring representative fragments of the various aspects of the programme (music, food, art, etc.) in different digital and printed formats.
